This crystal is once again the product of the droidsmith Mubo and Gatherer Savi. This special droid crystal is even more unique in the sense that it produces a pure yellow blade. Using the same techniques as they did on the R2-D2, this BB-8 crystal is equally strong in the force and bonds quickly with its user.
